Nutritional medicine treatment is focused on an individualised, holistic and evidence-based approach to your health concerns. It is based on the principle that nutrients and micronutrients from the foods we consume are required for the optimal functioning of all biochemical processes in our bodies. Therefore we focus on identifying the underlying nutritional, lifestyle and environmental factors that are causing the disease process, rather then treating the symptoms.

One-on-one Nutrition Consultation's are important for identifying individualised approaches to health. Even though one specific plan may work for one person, this does not mean it will work for everyone. Nutrition consultations are designed to uncover your complete health profile and current eating patterns so specific approaches to treatment can be designed to get you closer to your health goals. Treatment approaches are based on individual nutrition plans, lifestyle changes and in some cases prescriptions using high quality, practitioner only supplements."

Common conditions treated by a Clinical Nutritionist include:

  • Weight loss/gain
  • Non-diet approach to eating
  • Disordered eating
