The students in the Environmental Management and Sustainability Master's program at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas are finishing their second year in Angers, France at the Université catholique de l'Ouest. They want global leaders at COP21 in Paris these next couple of weeks to wake up and take action on climate change!

Texas Parks and Wildlife biologists just completed their annual pronghorn surveys to gather data on density, distribution, and herd composition. Found only in North America, pronghorn are native to the Trans-Pecos and Panhandle areas of Texas.

Desert Bighorn rams at the Elephant Mountain Wildlife Management Area in west Texas scoping out territory in preparation for breeding season. Texas Parks and Wildlife biologists are restoring this native species into its historic range after disappearing due to unregulated hunting, domestic livestock diseases, and habitat loss and fragmentation.

These Horned Lizards are part of a study happening at Muse Wildlife Management Area near Brownwood, Texas. Texas Parks and Wildlife biologists are tracking wild-caught lizards as they attempt to reintroduce them to their historic range.
