Restless Until: Nature-inspired Sleep Stories

We started a SLEEP STORY PODCAST!! 🎙😴

You might know that I’ve been writing sleep stories in my creative writer's group on Thursday mornings.

One of my favorite things to do after a hectic and busy day is to put on a Calm app sleep story before bed. Listening to a soothing story that may have no meaning at all takes my mind away from all the noise of the world and slips my mind into deep sleep.

Because sleep, meditation, and prayer have been such an important part of my own mental health journey, I decided to start writing my own sleep stories!

I also believe that powerful and creative storytelling about our natural world and the mysteries beyond our comprehension make a massive difference in behavioral change within ourselves and our communities, paving the way for a regenerative planet and a happier humanity.

Restless Until exists to help you fall asleep peacefully and to bring you closer to creation, our Creator, and our sacred duty to preserve the beauty and bounty of our natural ecosystems and vulnerable communities.

Some of the stories are adapted from my friend, Rebecca Loomis, and her travel stories from The Playful Pilgrim incorporating mindfulness techniques through a meditative process of engaging all five senses.

This collection of nature sleep stories transcends the physical and offers a space for a deeper connection with yourself and your higher purpose giving your mind permission to check out and wind down!

You can now look for Restless Until: Sleep Stories for Wandering Minds on all podcast platforms! I hope you’ll find a peaceful journey to fall asleep to tonight!
